Jacob has been producing electronic music for more than 25 years. Trained as an audio engineer (Diplom-Ingenieur Medientechnologie), he founded TailOut Studios in Dresden in 2017. Every master here passes through his hands, from first file check to final delivery.

Stereo WAV, no limiter on the master bus, about −6 dB of headroom. Full checklist in our premaster guide.
Do I need a separate master for vinyl?
Usually yes: vinyl has physical limits that a dedicated premaster addresses. We deliver cut-ready files.
How long does mastering take?
